We collect the minimum data needed to run your trip safely and smoothly. This includes:

• Contact details such as name, email, phone, and chat IDs (LINE, WhatsApp).
• Booking details such as dates, group size, preferences, and pickup locations.
• Payment evidence such as bank transfer slips or transaction references.

We use this data to coordinate with guides, drivers, and partners to deliver your trip. We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.

2. AI Assistant & Automation Limits

Waykeeper uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make travel planning smoother while keeping humans in the loop for judgment and safety.

What Our AI Systems Can Do:

• Answer common questions about local trips, routes, and logistics.
• Help compare travel options based on your preferences.
• Summarize booking details and outline next steps.

What Our AI Systems Cannot Do:

• Confirm Bookings or Payments: The AI assistant does not process payments or finalize bookings on its own. Only written confirmation messages from Waykeeper staff count as final.
• High-Stakes Decisions: The AI assistant does not make medical, legal, or safety-critical decisions.
• Direct Account Access: The AI has no access to your banking, payment accounts, or card numbers.

3. Human in the Loop Escalation

We automatically escalate issues and require manual coordination by a human operator in the following cases:

• Payment disputes, refund requests, or billing issues.
• Safety concerns, active delays, or on-the-ground emergencies.
• Emotionally sensitive situations (complaints, accidents, or distress).
• Whenever the AI is uncertain or detects conflicting route/weather data.

4. AI Training and Data Security

We may use anonymized conversation history to improve our internal planning tools. We implement strict access controls so that only authorized personnel can view sensitive customer information.
